Pursuant to Executive Order 13-20, second-half 2019 ad valorem property tax that would become delinquent on April 1, 2020, shall now become delinquent if not paid on or before May 1, 2020.
Also, County sheriffs may not declare 2019 ad valorem property taxes to be delinquent before May 2, 2020.
***In accordance with this order, the 2nd ½ of the 2019 Brooke County property taxes will become delinquent on May 2,2020. Since this is a Saturday, we are extending this until May 4, 2020. Half year payments may now be accepted until May 3, 2020. If paying on May 4th or thereafter, full year payment will be required.
Any 2019 taxes remaining unpaid on May 31st will be published as required by law with fees added.
THE PAYMENT SCHEDULE ON ALL TAX TICKETS ENDS WITH APRIL 30TH. THEREFORE, IF PAYING AFTER APRIL 30, PLEASE CONTACT THE TAX OFFICE AT 304-737-3663 FOR THE CORRECT AMOUNT DUE. ***
