On October 22, 2019 at approximately 9:05 pm, Deputies from the Brooke County Sheriff’s Department arrived at 4005 Brightway Street in Weirton, WV Brooke County to serve a Court Order on Joseph S. Greene.
Upon entering the residence to serve the order, the deputies noticed drug paraphernalia in several areas of the residence. Deputies also notice a small tin with a blue straw and white powdery substance on top it. The white powdery substance was field tested and was positive for cocaine. Brooke County Deputies arrested Joseph S. Greene and the obtained a search warrant for the residence from the Brooke County Magistrate Court.
Brooke County Deputies executed the search warrant at 4005 Brightway Street and found the following items:
Marijuana 115 grams
Ecstasy 1 gram (4.5) pills
Methamphetamine 8 grams
LSD 5 stamps
Cocaine .3 grams
The Brooke County Sheriff’s Department has charged Joseph S. Greene with Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Ecstasy, Possession of LSD, Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana and Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine. Joseph S. Greene was arraigned by a Brooke County Magistrate and is currently held in the WV Northern Regional Jail pending an initial appearance.
