Courthouse Security and Bailiffs

We provide, by state standards, proper courthouse security and bailiffs that we place throughout both of our courthouse facilities. We strive to make sure your visit with us is safe and secure. Our security and bailiffs are legally armed and provided with annual training along side of our deputy sheriff’s to provide a safe courthouse.

Chief of Security John Eckersberg

John was the former Chief Deputy Sheriff under Sheriff Charles Jackson. John was a deputy sheriff with Brooke County since hired at the age of nineteen. John has training and experience totaling over thirty years. Since retirement as Chief Deputy, John decided to continue providing his experience towards courthouse security. We’re proud to have John as our Chief of Security.
